Dan McIntyre, MD

Dan has been with Vislink since 2000 in various capacities including Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of the 2 GHz Relocation Program at Microwave Radio Communications. Most recently he was General Manager of Vislink Services U.S.

From 1995 to 1998, Dan was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SPI, a start-up company in the rapid prototyping industry. In 1999 and 2000, he consulted for high tech start-up companies such as wireless broadband providers.

Dan was with the U.S. Peace Corps in Papua New Guinea from 1993 to 1995 as General Manager of a development authority which was a holding company for several businesses including a coffee mill, an abattoir, a construction company and three trading companies.

Prior to being in the Peace Corps, Dan was with IBM for over twenty years. He joined IBM as a computer programmer working on the development of operating systems. He subsequently held various management positions including Director of Product Marketing for ROLM, and PBX manufacturer and IBM subsidiary, and Director of Telecommunications Product Line Management for North America. In the early phase of IBM’s transformation from a product company to a services and solutions company, Dan was named Director of Networking Solutions Marketing. Prior to IBM, he worked in the U.S. space program at Cape Canaveral for a year.

He majored in engineering at Drexel University and biology and chemistry at the University of Florida.

Dan is involved in several not-for-profit organizations and has been on the board of various NGOs including Literacy Volunteers of America and the Urban League.
